With the development of high-throughput sequencing technology, it has been found that many non-coding RNAs, including miRNA and DNA methylation, play an important role in animal muscle development and fat metabolism. However, it is not clear how the gene expression of hybrid sheep offspring controls skeletal muscle growth and fatty acid metabolism changes. In this experiment, the Suffolk, Southdown, and Hu sheep were selected as male parents to hybridize with Hu sheep.
