资源简介:
Background: The German TA EG questionnaire is a widely used tool for the standardized assessment of Affinity for Technology (TA). But despite its frequent use, the TA EG questionnaire has not been validated on a norm sample for the German language. In addition, frequently assumed cultural differences in affinity for technology have not yet been investigated systematically. Objectives and Research questions: This study has two objectives: a) collecting a German norm sample for the TA EG in order to test the questionnaire for quality criteria and to make generalisable statements and b) assessing how users from different cultural backgrounds differ in their level of Affinity for Technology. Participants: N=1200 participants from Germany will answer the TA EG and additional related questionnaires to confirm the factorial structure of the TA EG. Participants in Japan, Mexico, and the USA (n=300 each) will answer the TA EG to explore potential cultural differences in affinity for technology (also see “sample description form”). Study method: Respondents will be recruited for this online survey over PSYCHLAB ONLINE PANELS in Germany, Japan, Mexico, and the USA, in samples stratified for age group, gender, and educational background. peerReviewed other
