Proteome database of Proteus mirabilis strain HI4320

<i>Proteus mirabilis</i> is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped, facultative anaerobic bacterium capable of collective cell migration behaviour known as swarming motility. Frequently associated with urinary tract infections due to swarming motility mediated in part by a large number of flagella tethered to the cell envelope, the bacterium is also a model organism for the study of the intricate cell motility mechanism. This work presents the proteome database of <i>P. mirabilis</i> HI4320 by parsing its annotated proteome downloaded from UniProt. Comprising protein name, amino acid sequence, molecular weight, number of residues, and nucleotide sequence, the resource should find use in understanding possible connections between evolution of swarming motility and emergence of pathogenicity of the bacterium.
