Great knot faeces, the birds' main prey food, and nearby environment at two time points

We aimed to determine connectivity of bacterial microbiomes between great knots (faeces), their main food source (small pipi bivalves), and the nearby sediment. Samples were collected from a beach in the Northern Territory, Australia at two time points, before and after the birds' long-distance migration north for the northern summer.
