Batteries and Military Equipment in the Dardanelles (1908-09)

This data shows the number of Turkish batteries and other defensive pieces of military equipment in the Dardanelles for the years of 1908 and 1909. <br>The figures in this spreadsheet are obtained from the Admiralty (1908-ADM 231/49) and the War Office (1909-WO 33/2333) intelligence records kept in the National Archives of the UK, Kew. <br>As the data is purely obtained from British intelligence sources, it might be inconsistent with the real figures the Ottoman Empire actually had at that period. <br>This spreadsheet will be updated in due course.
