Acinetobacter baumannii strain:o2251 Genome sequencing

This BioProject reports the draft genome sequence of Acinetobacter baumannii strain o2251, isolated from a bronchial aspirate collected from an 84-year-old female ICU patient at the Prof. W. Orlowski Memorial Independent Public Clinical Hospital, CMKP, Warsaw, Poland. The specimen was collected on July 22, 2017, and examined on July 26, 2017. Illumina sequencing generated approximately 187x coverage, and the genome was assembled with Unicycler v0.4.8 (assembly version o2251_v1). This dataset provides a genomic resource for the characterization of a clinical Acinetobacter baumannii isolate and will support comparative and functional genomic studies of hospital-associated strains.
