Shaking table tests of buildings seismically isolated with a low-cost PVC-s foundation (SAFER project)

This dataset provides documentation and data for the large-scale shaking table testing of a steel structure founded on PVC ‘sand-wich’ seismic isolation (Test Group 1) and the large-scale shaking table testing of a masonry structure founded on PVC ‘sand-wich’ seismic isolation (Test Group 2). Both experiments were performed at the 3mx3m shaking table of University of Bristol as part of project SAFER (Seismic Safety and Resilience of Schools in Nepal), funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF), UK. The dataset (Version 1.0) is split into two subsets each one including five folders and the corresponding ground motions, acceleration response, displacement response, videos and photos of the tests.
