A record of 141 severe storms impacting the Perth region of southwest Western Australia from 1830 to 2024. The data are provided in two files: A list of storms from 1830 to 1879, and from 1880 to 2024. Both lists provide: a storm ID number (from 1 to 141) a start date and end date for the storm event (YYYY-MM-DD) the minimum atmospheric mean sea level pressure recorded during the event (hPa) the time of minimum pressure (local time). The 1830–1879 list includes qualitative remarks on the conditions associated with each storm, as quantitative rainfall information is not available. The 1880–2024 list provides: The total rainfall recorded during each storm event (mm) The highest 24-hour rainfall total (mm) The date of the highest 24-hour rainfall total (YYYY-MM-DD) Data are provided in tab-delimited format.
