List of Australian Journals

A list of Australian journals that are currently (in 2021) active. Australian journals are defined here as journals that belong to or are affiliated with an Australian entity including educational institutions, non-profit organisations, small commercial publishers, government bodies and so on. The list was compiled by searching in multiple databases including Ulrich's directory of periodicals, Scopus, Web of Science, and DOAJ. Each journal was checked for information to verify whether it was Australian. The data include Title, ISSN, Country of publisher, website link, start year, Corporate author (the body that sponsors editorial processes and might own the journal or the journal might be affiliated with), publisher, Field of Research code (based on The Australian and New Zealand Standard Research Classification 2018), whether the journal is listed in Scopus, Web of Science, Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) list of 2018.<br>本数据集为2021年仍处于运营状态的澳大利亚期刊名录。本数据集所界定的澳大利亚期刊，指隶属于或关联于澳大利亚实体的期刊，此类实体包括教育机构、非营利组织、小型商业出版社、政府机构等。该名录通过检索Ulrich国际期刊指南（Ulrich's directory of periodicals）、Scopus、Web of Science及开放获取期刊目录（DOAJ）等多个数据库汇编完成。所有入选期刊均经过信息核验，以确认其澳大利亚属性。数据集涵盖以下字段：期刊名称、ISSN（国际标准连续出版物编号）、出版国、网站链接、创刊年份、机构主办单位（即赞助期刊编辑流程、可能持有该期刊或与之存在隶属关联关系的主体）、出版社、研究领域代码（依据《2018年澳大利亚与新西兰标准研究分类》制定）、期刊是否收录于Scopus、Web of Science及2018年澳大利亚研究卓越框架（ERA）名录。
