Fog modification experiment by aircraft ion emission

An experiment investigating the release of charge from an Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (UAV) into clear and foggy air was conducted at Bottom Barn Farm, near Castle Cary in Somerset, UK (51.09788°N, 2.486905°W), in February/March 2021. This archive contains data files from the surface measuring instruments deployed and from the aircraft systems and data loggers, during four flights undertaken. At the surface, measurements of droplet concentration were made with a Light Optical Aerosol Counter (LOAC) and atmospheric electric field with a JCI131 electric field mill.
