The data provides information regarding voluntary and involuntary employment separations occurring within Iowa Executive Branch agencies except Regents. Voluntary employment separations generally include resignations and retirements. Whereas involuntary employment separations generally include dismissals and layoffs. This chart shows employment separations by employee status for the current fiscal year. Employee status include: Permanent (Merit), Probationary (Merit), Permanent (Nonmerit), and Probationary (Nonmerit). Counts are based on employment separations occurring in pay periods ending during the fiscal year.
