资源简介:
Genotype and phenotype data for Atlantic killifish (Fundulus heteroclitus) populations distributed along a salinity gradient in the Potomac River, in Chesapeake Bay, USA. Genotype data include a variant call file (VCF) generated from RAD-seq data for three populations. Adult killifish were collected from the FW-native (n = 40), BW-native (n = 40), and admixed (n = 257) populations in June 2014. FW-native individuals were sampled from Piscataway Park, near Accokeek, MD (38°41′42.18′′N, 77°3′10.38′′W) and BW-native fish were from Point Lookout State Park, near Scotland, MD (38°3′10.90′′N, 76°19′34.38′′W). The admixed population was collected at Allen’s Fresh Run, MD (38°21′54.54′′N, 76°58′52.02′′W). Raw sequence data are archived at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI SRA; BioProject PRJNA428529). Phenotype data are in a single spreadsheet. Data were collected for each of the individuals from the admixed population. Multiple phenotypic measurements were made for each individual, including hypoxia tolerance, metabolic rate, salinity tolerance, and morphology (position in principal components space along PC1 and PC2). Mass and length were also measured for each individual prior to physiological phenotype measurement (since phenotypes were measured sequentially across several months, such that masses and lengths were slightly different for each phenotypic measurement).
