Hot Donors in Cataclysmic Variables: Case of EI Psc (MESA evolutionary model)

DATASET DESCRIPTION This dataset was developed using MESA version r24.08.1 (August 21, 2024) and SDK version 24.7.3 (August 15, 2024). It contains detailed models of binary stellar evolution with modifications and enhancements to the standard MESA code, ensuring more accurate and physically consistent results. MODIFICATIONS TO MESA CODE The standard MESA code was modified to address specific challenges encountered during stellar evolution simulations: Mitigation of Non-Physical Resonances:- Non-physical "resonances" in system evolution, arising from insufficient temporal resolution, were eliminated by introducing mechanisms to limit abrupt changes in critical parameters such as radius and luminosity between calculation steps.- Adaptive constraints were applied to ensure smooth transitions in the evolution of physical parameters. Improved Mass Transfer Calculations:- Adjustments were made to refine the computation of mass transfer rates in binary systems. Adaptive constraints were implemented to prevent unstable spikes, ensuring more stable simulations. Enhanced Time Step Refinement:- The calculation time step was refined to improve the accuracy of tracking rapid changes in physical parameters, yielding stable and realistic representations of the system's evolution.
