Last data update: April 25, 2016 A Special Policy Area (SPA) was established for the Community of Schomberg, Township of King in accordance with provincial flood plain policy. In general, the SPA provides a means to deal with land use proposals within the Community as it relates to the existing flood plain. This GIS layer shows the extent of the SPA within Schomberg as established in the local Official Plan. Please note that the LSRCA should be consulted in order to determine the precise location of the flooding hazard limit as it relates to the implementation of the SPA. In some instances, topographical surveys may be required on a site-by-site basis as development applications are brought forward.
