CIM2050 Equity Index aggregates 23 measures into three categories: social, environmental, and transportation. The measures are calculated across the entire Treasure Valley and result in a numerical index where higher values correspond to greater inequities in a given area. Factors such as income; educational attainment; proximity by walking to grocery stores, transit, and schools; and vehicle ownership are examples of some of the measures. The level of equity/inequity is mapped by geographic location, relative to the region as a whole. A higher score indicates more inequity. --- Below is a list of all the measures under their corresponding category.
