资源简介:
Plastic is widely used in daily life, but it also brings serious environmental pollution. Plastic products can degrade into microplastic particles after physical, chemical, and biological processes, and microplastic particles can further degrade into nanoplastic particles. Microplastics and nanoplastic particles exist in water, atmosphere, and food, and enter the human body through the digestive and respiratory tracts, causing harm to animal and human health. In this study, Caenorhabditis elegans was exposed to a culture medium containing polystyrene plastic particles at a concentration of 1000 µ g/L to detect the healthy lifespan of the nematodes, further revealing the impact of polystyrene nanoparticles on human health and providing a theoretical basis for further evaluating the biological toxicity effects and potential health risks of polystyrene nanoparticles. Overall design: This study exposed Caenorhabditis elegans to a culture medium containing polystyrene plastic particles at a concentration of 1000 µ g/L to detect its healthy lifespan and other health indicators.
