The genus Pseudomonas comprised of Gram-negative strains with a variety of potential industrial applications as well as a growing pathogen that reported to cause various dangerous nosocomial infections. Our studies describe the first draft genome sequence of a CRISPR-carrying, multidrug-resistant candidate novel Pseudomonas sp. NCCP-436 that was isolated from fecal sample of neonatal calf animal and endowed with zoonotic potential. Greater numbers of antibiotic resistance genes, virulence factors and homology to human pathogens were predicted, exposing its pathogenic and zoonotic ability to public health, though their functional effects are yet to be further determined.
