Dataset Global perspective on business intelligence on digital technology in the entrepreneurial ecosystem A bibliometric approach (1995-2024)

This study examines the worldwide state of business intelligence (BI) combined with digital technologies in the entrepreneurial ecosystem using a bibliometric method. We obtained a dataset of 1425 papers from 1995 to 2024 from the Scopus database. The study used the bibliometric approach to perform a comprehensive examination of publication patterns, citation networks, highly productive authors, prominent journals, and global collaborations. The findings indicate a notable rise in research productivity and citations in the discipline, particularly after 2019, suggesting an increasing scholarly interest in business intelligence (BI) and digital technology. The report emphasizes the prevalent utilization of phrases such as "digital transformation," "artificial intelligence," and "big data," highlighting the convergence of sophisticated technology and company operations. The study cites the United Kingdom, Italy, and the USA as the primary contributors to the discipline, with significant international cooperation. Furthermore, the research reveals gaps in the existing body of knowledge, indicating potential subjects for future investigation, such as the influence of digital entrepreneurship on sustainable development and the contribution of digital tools to the improvement of business intelligence frameworks. This bibliometric analysis offers useful insights into the changing dynamics of business intelligence (BI) and digital technologies. It provides guidance for future research orientations and has practical consequences for entrepreneurs, researchers, and policymakers. Integrating business intelligence with digital technology is essential for promoting innovation and strategic adaptability in the digital era, ultimately leading to entrepreneurial achievement
