The measurements were made in the vicinity of Aboa station at 73S, 13W.
The measurement period was January 2007.
The following quantities were measured:
At two sites, one over snow-covered glacier and another over blue ice:
Downwelling longwave radiation
Longwave radiation emitted by the surface
Downwelling shortwave radiation
Reflected shortwave radiation
At one site over snow-covered glacier:
Wind and air temperature at five levels in the lowermost 6.5 m
Turbulent fluxes of heat and momentum at the height of 3 m
Vertical profiles of snow temperature, density, and wetness
Snow grain size and structure (photographs)
