eDNA bacteria (sediments) DOORS September 2023

The dataset contains eDNA data collected during the MN248 Cruise (11-20 September 2023), from 5 stations located in the Romanian Black Sea area, in the framework of H2020 DOORS Project. From each station, sediment samples were collected with a Multicorer or Van-Veen grab, with sterile spatulas, and further stored in plastic containers at -20̊ C. In order to assess the microbial communities, DNA was extracted in triplicate from each sediment sample. The V3-V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene was sequenced using an Illumina MiSeq platform (Macrogen, South Korea). The database comprises taxonomic and quantitative data (relative abundance expressed as ASVs – Amplicon sequence variants).
