MetaColi dataset

The Metacoli project aimed at understanding the metabolic response of a variety of E. Coli bacterial strains to different culture media. Here we provide the raw datasets of quantitative proteomics analysis and enzyme assays performed on five E. Coli strains grown on four different cuture media. We provide a set of R scripts for data analysis along with a detailed material ans method about the experiment and data analyses. We also provide a R script that analyses the relationships between enzyme abudance and enzyme activity. Those data clearly evidence a trade-off between abundance and activity.
