Data from a Comprehensive Analytical Buildings Record at Fort Gilkicker, Gosport, Hampshire, May 2023.

This collection comprises images and a report from a comprehensive analytical buildings record carried out by Cotswold Archaeology at Fort Gilkicker, Gosport, Hampshire in May 2023. In May 2023 Cotswold Archaeology was instructed by Gilkicker Builders Limited to undertake a Level 4 Historic Building Recording of Fort Gilkicker, Gosport, Hampshire. The structure is within a Scheduled Monument (NHLE 1001789) and is also a Grade II* Listed Building (NHLE 1276719). Fort Gilkicker is a designated heritage asset of the highest significance. The purpose of the Level 4 Historic Building Recording is to create a permanent record of the structure at the time of site assessment, prior to conversion to a residential function.
