Vs30 Database for Israel
收藏资源简介:
This database integrates measured subsurface geophysical profiles with surface geological and topographic features for 509 sites. Each record includes site metadata (ID, WGS84 coordinates, and measurement method), and a station_name field indicating whether the measurement is associated with the Truua seismic network. The dataset contains measured shear-wave velocity (Vs) profiles—consisting of up to 12 layer thicknesses (h) and their corresponding velocities (Vs), a half-space velocity, and the calculated Vs30—alongside categorical geological age and lithology (Sneh et al., 1998; 1:200k). The dataset includes the depth to bedrock (depth to tj), defined as the top of the Upper Cretaceous Judea Group carbonate unit (Fleischer and Gafsou, 2000; Zaslavsky et al., 2001). Topographic features, provided by the Survey of Israel and computed via QGIS SAGA tools (Conrad et al., 2015), comprise multi-scale slope gradients (10 m to 2000 m) and seven geomorphological metrics (Convexity, Texture, Roughness, VRM, TRI, Ridge Level, and Total Curvature) provided at 120 m, 300 m, and 500 m spatial resolutions. Coordinates for specific private-sector sites cannot be shared due to proprietary restrictions and are set to NaN. All other missing parameters or empty layers are also denoted as NaN.
