GeoEcoMar Zooplankton Bridge-BS 13 -17.06.2023

The dataset contains qualitative and quantitative data of mesozooplankton taxa identified in June 2023, from 5 stations (12 samples) located in the Romanian Black Sea area along a transect crossing Mangalia-MA. The samples were preserved in 10% formalin onboard and subsequently were processed in the NIRD GeoEcoMar laboratory, according to Alexandrov et al., 2020. Measurements of physical, chemical and biological parameters of sea water and sediments were performed in order to gather new data (CTD parameters, nutrients, hydrogen sulfide, chl-a, plankton, benthos and other crucial parameters) for improving key process descriptions (redox processes, vertical mixing, CIL formation, etc.).
