资源简介:
We investigated the adaptation and succession of microbial communities derived from fecal samples obtained from two different anonymous adult donors using an automated in vitro fermenter over 22 and 31 days, by employing 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing and untargeted metabolomics. The fermenter maintained a trend of increasing microbial alpha-diversity from Ascending (AC) to Transverse (TC) to Descending colon (DC) compartments, mimicking that of human gastrointestinal tract.
