Adult stages of Dermanyssus gallinae mites were collected in traps located in International Poultry Testing (MTD) Ustrasice in egg-laying hens housing. Mites were sorted and micro-injected by hppd or gfp dsRNA (sterile PBS), or by nitisinone or solvent control. After two days, whole body homogenates were prepared for RNA extraction. Each RNA extract originates from at least 13 mites. Non-stranded libraries were prepared and sequenced on NovaSeq 6000 system (Illumina).
