Rehabilitation of Upper Georges River - Bush Regeneration Programme: Stage 3

Rehabilitation of council selected and council controlled public land and waterway riparian zones within the Campbelltown, Liverpool and Fairfield LGAs. Works will be concentrated on the main river upstream of Chipping Norton Lakes including the Bunbury Curran and Cabramatta Creek sub-catchments. The primary activities will be bush regeneration through weed treatment, natural regeneration and revegetation as well as litter and rubbish removal. Other activities will include track work and exclusion fencing to ensure safe public access and to reduce environmental degradation due to inappropriate land use.
