Dataset related to publication: Kristiansen, N. I., et al. (2012), Performance assessment of a volcanic ash transport model mini-ensemble used for inverse modeling of the 2010 Eyjafjallajökull eruption, J. Geophys. Res., 117, D00U11, doi:10.1029/2011JD016844. The data was generated in 2012 at NILU. The work was funded by the European Space Agency’s Earth Observation Envelope Programme (EOEP) – Data User Element through the project Support for Aviation for Volcanic Ash Avoidance (SAVAA). Data provided include the FLEXPART ECMWF aposteriori simulation as described in the publication above. The data has been converted to netCDF format by Nina Kristiansen in August 2026.
