资源简介:
This dataset is derived from an experimental program of 1:10 scale models of coastal structures with varied geometric configurations tested in the CHERL wave flume at Stony Brook University. Five distinct structural geometries are included: a cubic box, a box girder with overhangs, two continuous box configurations with concave and convex side-wall transitions, and a hypar box. The dataset involves a range of regular wave conditions, encompassing variations in wave height, period, and steepness, combined with multiple structural elevation levels (semi-submerged, still water level, and elevated) to represent realistic coastal hazard scenarios. The dataset comprises measurement results of horizontal and vertical forces as well as detailed wave time histories for all test scenarios. Force and hydrodynamic data were acquired using precision-calibrated sensors and digitized at sampling rates sufficient to capture necessary structural responses. Comprehensive quality control procedures were applied to identify and correct anomalies, after which the dataset was systematically organized by test series for accessibility. The dataset offers a strong basis for validating numerical and physical models, supporting structural design optimization, and/or developing data-driven predictive frameworks, in order to assess the influence of coastal structure shapes on wave-induced loading.
