Supplemented material to "High Molecular Diversity of Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis in Germany Revealed by Multitarget Genotyping"
收藏资源简介:
This is the modified supplemented material to the publication "High Molecular Diversity of Mycobacterium avium subsp.paratuberculosis in Germany Revealed by Multitarget Genotyping". This material provides genotyping results of 518 Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis (Map) strains from 13 federal states in Germany isolated between 1993 and 2016. The isolates were characterized by a combination of three typing methods: IS900-RFLP with BstEII and PstI digestion, MIRU-VNTR (8 loci) and SSR (SSR1, SSR8, and SSR9) analysis, and showed a total of 93 combined genotypes including 90 genotypes of C-type and three genotypes of S-type. The figures show gel images and schematic representations of the different IS900-RFLP band patterns after digestion with BstEII and PstI. The tables list the isolates from 243 cattle herds and nine other host species from 25 locations with the corresponding genotyping results. Several new genotypes were identified. Five genotypes were predominant in cattle, and were also found in sheep, goats, and deer. The discriminatory power of genotyping was calculated on the basis of the results for each individual method and for their combination and gave a DI (discriminatory index) value of 0.954. Polyclonal infections were observed in individual animals and herds. The high genotype richness of Map reflects the long history of paratuberculosis in Germany and intensive nationwide animal movement and international trading activity.
