Aim of the study was to characterize decidual macrohage populations and to verify the isolation protocol by showing the distinction between macrophages and monocytes Decidual macrophages and monocytes were isolated from donor-matched decB, decP, and placental tissues using enzymatic digestion and FACS, and RNA was extracted directly after cell isolation.
