RNA-seq of mussel Gigantidas haimaensis holobiont

Deep-sea mussel Gigantidas haimaensis holobiont is a potential model species for cold seep ecological and biological research, especially in the South China Sea. In the present study, we carried out comparative transcriptomic analyses between in situ and onboard fixed gills and between in situ fixed mantles and onboard fixed mantles of mussel G. haimaensis to assess the effects of incidental sampling stress.
