资源简介:
Temperature, relative humidity and dew point of the near-ground air mass to describe the microclimate dynamics under the canopy of an oil palm plantation (OPP) and a secondary riparian dry forest (SF), and in an open area within a 3-yr abandoned pasture (P) within a 60-ha private property (Finca Michigan, El Bajo) located in the rural area of the Palo Alto County (Municipality of San Onofre, Sucre Province, Colombia: 9°51'16.6"N 75°25'32.9"W). The location of measurements were representative of these dominant land covers in the private property (oil palm: 40 ha; secondary riparian forest: 5 ha; pasture: 15 ha) and the Caribbean coastal plain (Supplementary file: Figures S1, S2). At each land cover type, we independently attached four air temperature and relative humidity data loggers (EL-USB2-LCD, LASCAR Scientific) to 1” PVC pipes at 30 cm above ground level. The four replicates were separated a minimum distance of 10 m at P, and 20 m at both OPP and SF. The data loggers were programed to record measurement every 30-min-interval measurements between January and December 2016 under “Super” El Niño conditions. The complete time series exceeded 20,000 recordings per data logger (total recordings for averages: OPP: 22,956; SF: 23,254; P: 23253), but some gaps occurred during less than one week due to different reasons. The entire database provides >240,000 recordings considering the four replicates and the three land cover types, and it is, therefore, a statistically powerful resource capturing temporal variability at diel, daily, monthly and seasonal scales, and a useful input for further modeling exercises based on probability distributions
