Catabolism of diethyl ether (DEE) as a sole carbon and energy source by Mycolicibacterium sp. ELW1. RNA-seq was performed on biological samples of DEE-grown cells and fructose-grown cells of Mycolicibacterium sp. ELW1. The data provide a transcriptomic depiction of transcribed genes when grown on DEE or fructose. These data can be interpreted in terms of their impact on the diversity of DEE-metabolizing strains
