Supervision – Was ist das und was ist konzeptionell bedeutsam? Supervision – What is it and what is Conceptually Significant?

In diesem Beitrag wird zunächst der Gegenstand von Supervision dargestellt, so wie er sich in der Sozialarbeit und in der Psychotherapie historisch entwickelt hat. Daran anschließend wird gezeigt, dass aufgrund der vielfältigen Fragestellungen von Supervision auch vielfältige Theorien und Methoden genutzt werden müssen. Diese sollten aber nicht nur nach rein pragmatischen Gesichtspunkten gewählt werden, sondern auch unter Berücksichtigung der ihnen unterlegten sozialwissenschaftlichen Paradigmatik und der anthropologischen Prämissen. In this article in a first step the subject of clinical supervision will be explained in the context of its history in social work and psychotherapy. Due to the high complexity of the subject the choice of methods to be used is similarly complex. Basically the supervisor has to look for the right paradigm and the adequate anthropological background. In advanced supervision it is necessary to change the perspective continuously based on an adequate choice of theories and methods.
