Automated thin-section scanning digital repository

This repository contains files for assembling an automated thin-section scanner using a Plustek OpticFilm 135i. File S1 contains printing instructions for the 3D-printed adapters, as well as assembly instructions for the circularly polarized light holder. File S2 contains the 3D-printed adapter models in *.stl format and OpenSCAD source code in *.scad format. File S3 contains a standard operating procedure for the thin-section scanner. File S4 contains the Fiji macros and test images for the Sobel focus test. File S5 contains a bill of materials and cost estimate for the proposed automated thin-section-scanning setup. All Supplementary Files are distributed under a GPLv3 license.
