Fish consumed in Belgium 2019, by type

This statistic displays the results of a survey regarding the types of fish which were consumed by consumers in Belgium in 2019. At the time of the survey, close to 90 percent of consumers surveyed indicated that they had eaten salmon in the previous year, while whiting appeared to be one of the least frequently eaten types of fish included in the survey, with just over ten percent of consumers having eaten whiting in the previous year.
