The relative gene expression changes in C. elegans wild type animals and nhr-131(tm1376) mutants exposed to F17 and a vehicle control (DMSO) were determined. Overall design: Synchronized L4 C. elegans 5 independent biological replicates per condition were exposed to either DMSO (0.1%) or F17 (2.5 uM) in liquid culture for 4 hr. Total RNA was extracted from whole animals.
