Water column depth profiles of dissolved nutrients (nitrate, nitrite, silicate, phosphate and ammonium) from CTD casts sampled during cruise JC247 in May 2023 from the Porcupine Abyssal Plain - Sustained Observatory (PAP-SO) site

The dataset contains dissolved nutrient data (nitrate, nitrite, silicate, phosphate and ammonium) from discrete water samples (water column depth profiles) collected from station L4 at the Western Channel Observatory (WCO) and from all occupied CTD stations at the Porcupine Abyssal Plain - Sustained Observatory (PAP-SO) in the North East Atlantic Ocean, onboard RRS James Cook (JC247) in May 2023. The CTD collected seawater samples in Niskin bottles between depths of 5 - ~5000m and samples were analysed for dissolved nutrients in the laboratory. These data were collected as part of the NERC CLASS programme by scientists at Plymouth Marine Laboratory and the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton UK.
