This dataset encompasses all supporting data for the study titled “Tryptophan-rich diet improves high-fat diet-induced cognitive dysfunction and blood-brain barrier disruption through FFAR3 activation,” excluding the transcriptomic data associated with Figure 5. The files are organized systematically for reproducibility and ease of access, key experimental groups comprise normal diet (ND), high-fat diet (HFD), HFD with 0.1% tryptophan supplementation, HFD with 0.5% tryptophan supplementation, and HFD with indole-3-propionic acid (IPA) supplementation. The data includes results from behavioral tests (Morris Water Maze, Fear Conditioning, and Novel Object Recognition), histological analyses (H&E staining, IHC staining, Golgi staining), and molecular experiments (Western blot and tight junction protein analyses). The dataset also features vascular permeability assays using sodium fluorescein and Evans Blue tracers.
