Soy bean volume for soy milk manufacturing in Japan 2014-2023

In 2022, the demand of soy beans within the soy milk manufacturing industry in Japan amounted to around 63.5 thousand metric tons, continuing the downward trend of the previous years. The largest share of beans was used in the production of soy milk preparations containing sugar, salt, and vegetable oil for flavoring.
