RNA-seq of ETCs and Sync during initial steps of barley endosperm cellularization

Transcriptome profiling of endosperm subdomains from barley grains at the beginning of endosperm celluzlarization (3 to 4 days after flowering(DAF)). RNA-seq of transfer cells (ETCs) and the remaining syncytium (Sync) was performed to compare developmental and regulatory programs triggering cell specification in the early endosperm. Subdomains/cells were isolated by laser capture microdissection (LCM), mRNA was prepared to generate sequencing libraries and libraries were sequenced with HiSeq 2500 (Illumina).
