This dataset is a corpus of Ancient Greek poetry compiled at the University of Regensburg in the 1980s. It encompasses a substantial number of poetic verses, along with a complete iterative list of accented syllables. Furthermore, the dataset features manually annotated poetic data designed for evaluating hexameter metrical algorithms, with particular focus placed on syllabification and metrical correctness. As a large-scale corpus, its core task is to analyze the metrical properties of Ancient Greek hexameter verses.
