Ready-To- Eat (RTE) foods are known to contamination and cause foodborne outbreaks and khebab is among these RTE foods. Khebab samples made from beef, chevon and gizzard were purchased from vendors at six different locations namely Kotei, Ayeduase, Kentinkrono, Boadi, KNUST campus, and Ayigya from February, 2018 and May, 2018. The samples were analyzed for the microbial load of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus using standard methods as well as how isolates of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus been resistance to routine antibiotics using Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method.
