This dataset was used for the manuscript "A rigorous derivation of the Water Mass Transformation framework, the relation between mixing and dia-surface exchange flow, and links to recent theories in estuarine research" by Klingbeil and Henell (2023, Journal of Physical Oceanography, 10.1175/JPO-D-23-0130.1). The data are obtained from a simulation with the coastal ocean model GETM, averaged over the 54 tidal cycles from day 84 to day 112.
