The Wuding River is a first-order tributary of the middle reaches of the Yellow River. This dataset contains sediment-related hydrological data from six hydrological stations in the Wuding River Basin, covering the period from 1956 to 1990. The dataset includes monthly average sediment discharge, annual average sediment discharge, annual total sediment load, annual specific sediment yield, annual maximum daily average sediment discharge, and the corresponding occurrence time of the annual maximum daily average sediment discharge. The measurement units and statistical time frame are as follows: statistical time unit: month; annual average sediment discharge: kg/s; annual total sediment load: 10⁴ t; annual specific sediment yield: t/km²; annual maximum daily average sediment discharge: kg/s. This dataset was compiled based on the monthly and annual average sediment discharge comparison tables extracted from the annual *Hydrological Data of the Yellow River Basin* published by the Hydrological Bureau of the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China.
