资源简介:
Data collected from surface (SW) and groundwaters (GW) in Meadowbrook Creek, Syracuse, NY. This is a suburbanized watershed, with a more urban headwaters that has a straightened channel, disconnected from groundwater, that runs through the middle of a two-lane road. Further downstream, the stream is more naturalized, with more classic morphology (pools, riffles, and meanders) and extensive SW-GW connectivity. In the lowest reaches of the stream, 5 riparian floodplain wells were installed, and their chemistry is reported here. Samples were collected from May 2012 to June 2013. Samples were analyzed for specific conductivity (reported in mS/cm, not uS/cm), temperature, fluoride, chloride, nitrate, sulfate, sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium. Ion concentrations were analyzed on a Dionex ICS-2000. Along with concentrations, error is reported for each ion, calculated as three times the standard deviation or re-runs of a single standard of that run. -9999 indicates a sample was not collected/analyzed, and -9998 means the sample was below the detection limit of that run (did not have a peak for that ion for that run, indicating concentration was below the detection limit). Data have been used in many papers, listed in Related Resources.
