This series contains consists of a variety of records relating to the general administration of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. It includes finance committee papers, policy files, staffing and establishment papers, statistics, equipment, public relations, defence, education department, external studies. The previous correspondence system relied on personal correspondence for each department. This series was created with the establishment of a central registry.
