Analysis of Arabidopsis genome-wide variations before and after meiosis

Columbia (Col) and Landsberg erecta (Ler) are two widely used ecotypes of Arabidopsis thaliana for gene function studies. Col genome sequence is publicly available as reference. We sequenced Ler to identity SNPs and indels between Ler and Col. Then We analyze the pattern of these variations and used them as molecular markers to identify meiotic recombination.
