This dataset corresponds to the cavityFlexibleBottom tutorial case from solids4Foam. The case represents an internal laminar flow interacting with a deformable elastic structure, serving as a benchmark problem for fluid–structure interaction (FSI). It captures the coupling between the flow within a channel and the structural response of a flexible cavity bottom, where fluid-induced stresses drive deformation, and the resulting structural motion in turn modifies the flow field. This dataset includes results from three simulation cases with different inlet velocity conditions, corresponding to Reynolds numbers of Re = 50 (low), Re = 100 (baseline), and Re = 200 (high). The configuration consists of a two-dimensional channel with a parabolic inlet velocity profile flowing over a cavity with a flexible bottom wall. Varying the Reynolds number enables direct comparison of how flow intensity influences recirculation behaviour within the cavity, pressure distribution along the flexible surface, and the resulting structural deformation response. Such configurations are representative of engineering applications involving flow over compliant or deformable surfaces, including biomedical flows, flexible channel linings, energy systems, and flow-induced deformation in mechanical components. The dataset can also support studies on internal flow dynamics, structural response sensitivity, and validation of FSI modelling approaches. This dataset contains CFD simulation results provided in OpenFOAM format, suitable for direct use in ParaView. The data can be used for visualisation, post-processing, training, and benchmarking purposes.
